My latest short film EDEN will be screening this weekend, Saturday April the 13th at 8:45pm, as a part of MSPIFF. I have released a teaser trailer to go along with the screening. Check it out here:

I was lucky enough to be able to produce some reenactments for a history channel documentary called "Holy Grail in America" a few years back. One of the more difficult, yet rewarding jobs I've had. Well, in the last few months I was brought back by the same company, Committee Films, to produce reenactments for a new series they have coming up for the History Channel. I was also lucky enough to direct a few that were right up my alley. It was 7 shoot days in some tough conditions, but had a great time with a great cast and crew. The show will begin airing in December and I think the reenactments should be a fun addition to the show.

Well....I was not so great at updating this site, but Zombie Chic 3D had a nice run of festival screenings throughout the early fall. I was very excited to be back at The Sitges Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantastic de Catalunya with the film making it's European Premiere at the festival in the amazing Auditori theater.
I couldn't have been more pleased to be a part of such an amazing festival again and was bummed I couldn't make the trip to Spain.
I was also very honored to be back at some other festivals I have screened at prior as well as some new ones. The film screened as a part of the Mile High Horror Festival, The Telluride Horror Show, Celluloid Screams, the Twin Cities Film Festival, and the San Pedro Film Festival. The film was able to screen in its native stereoscopic 3D at most of the fests.
It was nice to see the short find a home over the year. I'm sure I'll put it online sometime in the coming months. - Jul 23, 12

While writing and packaging a feature script I've been working on, I became enamored with the backstory that is largely removed from the feature itself. When I got the itch to make another short film, I figured that the backstory would make an interesting short film...that is the inspiration for "EDEN."
It ended up being the largest scale production for any short film I've directed in the past and there were a lot of great folks offering up their talents. I'm excited to hop into post production on this ASAP and release it into the world in the coming months. - Jul 22, 12I'm extremely excited to announce that Zombie Chic will be making its international premiere at the amazing Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal this July. Zombie Chic has been invited to screen as a part of the Dark Bridges Film Festival. It will screen twice at the festival. The first screening will be on Saturday, May 5th as it will screen after the festival's Zombie Walk and before the feature "Eddie: The Sleepwalking Cannibal." It will screen again on Sunday the 6th at noon as a part of the short film block. - Apr 11, 12Happy to announce that Zombie Chic 3D will be screening at a couple of festivals in the near future.
First up is our hometown festival, The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival on April 17th at 7pm at the St. Anthony Main Cinema. We will be screening the film in glorious 2D, though we very much appreciate the effort MSPIFF put into trying to find a way to project the film in stereoscopic 3D. For a shorts program...it is a tough sell and they did all they could to make it happen. Much appreciated! We'll have fun with the zombie horde in 2D instead!
Next up....THE FUCKING CATALINA WINE MIXER!!! Not really, but close. We will be screening as a part of the Catalina Film Festival which will be taking place from May 4th thru the 6th. - Apr 11, 12

- Feb 29, 12SXSW is coming up very quickly and I've just unveiled the poster for Zombie Chic 3D. Once again the poster was designed by Brent Schoonover.
Thanks a lot to Brent for his great work as per usual. Zombie Chic 3D will be screening (in anaglyph 3D only unfortunately) at SXSW as a part of the midnight shorts section and I am super psyched to be back at a festival I respect so much. The film will screen:

I am very excited to announce that my latest short film, the 3D zombie comedy "Zombie Chic," will be making its world premiere at the SXSW film festival this March.
It is an honor to be back at SXSW for the third year in a row. It is a ridiculously awesome festival with a great program each year. "Zombie Chic" will be screening as a part of the Midnight Shorts section of the festival. - Feb 08, 12
Haven't updated in quite some time, but have a few things to update. Stuck Between Stations has finished successful theatrical runs in New York City and Minneapolis, and is now primed to hit its third city, Portland. It opens on February 17th at the Hollywood Theater in Portland. Head to the theater's website to get tickets NOW.

Very excited for the screening of GOOD MORNING, BEAUTIFUL tonight as a part of the SITGES FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL de CINEMA FANTASTIC de CATALUNYA. I have long been a huge admirer of this festival and it's an honor to be a small part of it. If you're here for Sitges, come check out the film at 10:15pm at the Prado Theater, screening with the feature film "VAMPIRE."

Brady Kiernan's STUCK BETWEEN STATIONS will be screening a couple of times in October. First up it will be screening as a part of the NEW HAMPSHIRE FILM FESTIVAL on Saturday, October 15th at 6:50pm at the Moffatt-Ladd House Theater. My short film Good Morning, Beautiful will also be playing that festival the night before if you are in the New Hampshire area.
SBS then plays at the AUSTIN FILM FESTIVAL on Thursday, October 20th at 9:30pm at the Austin Convention Center Screen 1. Then again on Sunday, October 23rd at 10pm at the Regal Arbor. - Oct 10, 11

- Sep 27, 11My latest short film, "Zombie Chic 3D," will be screening this week as a part of the IMS Films Showcase along with 5 other short films. You can come down and check out the film in its intended 3D format in small screenings starting at 7pm. There will be a screening every 15 minutes until 8pm when the event starts. At that point, you'll need to see it in glorious 2D.

I am extremely excited to announce that "Good Morning, Beautiful" will be making its' European Premiere at the Sitges Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantastic de Catalunya. I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the world's largest genre film festival. The film will be screening twice. Once on 10/9 at 9:45am at the Prado as a part of the Noves Visions Shorts section. The film is screening in front of the feature film, Vampire. It will screen again at the Prado on 10/10 at 10:15pm.

I'm very happy to announce a slew of additional film festival screenings for "Good Morning, Beautiful." The film will screen as a part of the Arizona Underground Film Festival on September 18th.
It has also been invited to screen as a part of the Twin Cities Film Festival on Thursday, September 22nd at 8:30pm at the Showplace Ikon Theaters.
We will then be screening as a part of the Telluride Horror Show on October 14-16.
Next up is the Driftless Film Festival on October 6th-9th.
Then we have the Mile High Horror Festival later on Friday October 7th.
We have also been invited to screen at the Celluloid Screams UK: The Sheffield Horror Film Festival later in October.

Today is the day. "GOOD MORNING, BEAUTIFUL" is making its international premiere as part of the prestigious SMALL GAUGE TRAUMA section of short films at the FANTASIA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. The film screens today at 4pm at The Hall Theater at 1455 de Maisonneuve O. in Montreal.
I can't tell you how excited I am to screen at such a great festival. See you there.
